M*A*S*H CHOW PLAN
military AND SERVICE HEROES (and Their Families)
Heroes Fighting Hunger needs you to help with this important and honorable mission to provide our military families (their children) with "emergency and temporary" food assistance that doesn't require them to stand in a food line. We give these heroes our best; not through any government program or grant, but from grateful Americans like you providing emergency and temporary groceries to those who sacrifice daily to Protect us, Serve us, and sometimes Save us.
Please help fund all or part of a M*A*S*H Chow Plan for an Active Duty Military Family.

The M*A*S*H Chow Plan provides emergency and short-term grocery support to immediate-need military personnel. The military member is screened and referred by the base/post Chaplain's or Command office, or screened and referred by a partner food distribution center.

The plan provides fresh protein and produce for up to 45 days. The plan can be extended an additional 45 days providing the service member (or their spouse) completes a free budgeting course.
The cost per family for the 45 day M*A*S*H Chow Plan is $221 per week. That's an average per meal cost of only $3.51 — Business Insider reported the average cost per meal at a McDonalds is $4.72 while a meal at Chipotle costs an average of $11.00. The M*A*S*H Chow Plan is the only program of it's kind. It is completely funded by donations from grateful Americans. PLEASE GIVE

It's a Way to Serve Them
M*A*S*H CHOW PLAN - A SIMPLE WAY TO GIVE BACK

According to an NBC News report 620,000 households that include at least one Soldier, Sailor, Marine, Reservist or Guard member – or 25 percent of our nation’s total Active Duty and Reserve Personnel – are seeking aid from food pantries and other charitable programs. Another 2.37 million households including Veterans receive assistance from food pantries (this figure doesn't include households where both a former and current service member reside). Our brave American Warriors and Heroes should never have to worry about providing food for their families.

The M*A*S*H Hunger Chow Plan allows the service member to focus on his or her Critical Mission, not on whether or not their children have enough food to eat.
